We service what we sell. Also, we service other makes and models of computers. Hardware, software, upgrades, and tune-ups are the major service areas. We only recommend hardware or software upgrades if you need it. Our tune-up service includes the removal of unnecessary files, hard disk testing and optimization, and scanning and removal of software infections. Our service includes both onsite and offsite service calls. If we can't solve your problem at your home, we may have to take your computer into our shop for further repairs. Our turnaround time is based on parts availability and computers already on the bench. On the average, no more than 3 to 5 days for complex repairs. Most service calls are completed in your home within a few hours.

Our rates vary depending on the type of work performed. All individual computer problems are addressed at our base rate of $50.00/hour. All computer networking tasks are billed out at $75.00/hour. Payment is due at time of service. We accept cash or checks. Credit card payments must be paid for in advance or onsite. An estimate of completion time will be given to the customer prior to the work being performed.

We back up all of our work. Our warranty only covers hardware components. We do not warranty any software or lost data as a result of our work. Our warranty is contingent upon all customer data being backed up before we begin our work. We are not responsible for lost data or programs. A written warranty is included with all new computer purchases. It covers one year parts and labor. Service call warranties are 30 days parts and labor. A copy of the warranty appears on the back of the invoice.

Once we call for service, how long does it take you to respond?
Usually within 48 hours. We respond to most calls within 24 hours.

Do we need to back up our data before you perform your work?
Yes; if you don't you will need to sign a release from holding us liable for any data or programs lost or corrupted.

What can I do to prevent computer malfunctions or data loss?
Install anti-infection programs and run them regularly. Also, purchase and install an electrical and phone line surge protector. Checking disks often for any file corruptions and errors helps to keep your system in good shape.
